Export/import subscribed status for bulk email

Since we released Broadcast back in December, the feedback has been great!

We’ve heard from many long time Highrise users who are thrilled to stop going back and forth between 2 tools to manage contacts, communication, and email campaigns. And to instead use our simple Broadcast tool to send out messages directly from Highrise.

As always, I love Highrise. We just started using the Broadcast feature. It’s a big plus for us. Tell everyone who might be interested THANK YOU!!

Or

I love the feature of broadcast. Thank you for incorporating it. I have used it a couple of times and it’s simply fantastic.

Since it’s a paid feature only, we’ve even had people jumping from their free trials to check it out. 🙂

We love using it on a daily basis to welcome new accounts and users.

However, one of the most common requests is the ability to unsubscribe contacts in bulk. If you’ve been using another tool to send out marketing campaigns or other types of bulk emails to your contacts, you probably already have a list of people who have unsubscribed from receiving that type of communication. But you still want to include that contact in Highrise as a customer or lead for example.

Until now, you could update them manually:

but that would mean doing so one by one.

Today we announce functionality to import and export Subscribed status to make this kind of update seamless.

When exporting contacts in CSV or Excel format, Highrise will include a Subscribed column in the exported file.

And if you have a list of contacts to unsubscribe, you can include a Subscribed column when importing.

And more Broadcast updates on the way soon… in the meantime if you are using Broadcast, make sure you’ve read our Broadcast best practices. We keep making updates as we learn too, so feel free to bookmark the page and check back frequently.
